Angie Beisner named OATA Athletic Trainer of the Year

Angie Beisner, MA, ATC has been announced as a recipient of the OATA’s 2009 Athletic Trainer of the Year Award.  Beisner is a 1996 alumnus and she became a member of Ohio State's Athletic Training staff in 1999.  She works primarily with OSU's Tennis and Men's LaCrosse athletes and directs the Biggs Athletic Training Facility.  She also serves as an adjunct lecturer for the Athletic Training Division where she teaches courses related to injury evaluation and athletic training administration in addition to her role as a clinical preceptor.  She will be honored at the OATA Hall of Fame Banquet Friday evening, May 15 at the Kings Island Resort.
