PreCommencement Ceremony

will be Saturday, June 12, 2010

Tickets can be purchased starting Spring Quarter 2010 in the Office of Student Affairs in Room 127 Atwell Hall during normal business hours.  Check or cash accepted.  Questions may be directed to the Office of Student Affairs in Room 127 Atwell Hall, by telephone at 614-292-1706, or by email at sampstudentaffairs@osumc.edu.

PreCommencement vs. Commencement

The PreCommencement ceremony allows the faculty and staff of the School to individually recognize graduates.  The ceremony is indoors and provides an opportunity for a more intimate experience.  PreCommencement is typically an excellent event for families who are unable to attend the University Commencement ceremony. 

The University Commencement ceremony on Sunday, June 13, 2010 will include students who are graduating from all of the colleges and school at Ohio State.  The Commencement ceremony is held in the Ohio Stadium and typically exceeds 40,000 guests.  The event is held rain or shine and can be canceled for reasons such as inclement weather.
