The School of Allied Medical Professions is one of three schools within Ohio State's College of Medicine and Public Health, renowned for its curriculum innovation, world-class faculty, pioneering research and patient care. Annually recognized by U.S. News & World Report as being among the nation's best hospitals, the Ohio State University Medical Center and its James Cancer Hospital attract patients from Ohio and around the world. Faculty clinicians and researchers affiliated with the medical center are widely recognized for their leadership, innovation and enterprise. Training within this major medical center, you will have outstanding opportunities to work closely with superior practitioners in other health professions.

Ohio State also has much to offer you outside your professional training, as it features the largest recreation and intramural sports program in the nation. Flag football, indoor and sand volleyball, basketball, ice hockey, soccer, softball and squash are just some of the adrenaline-pumping offerings. Sport clubs feature everything from snowboarding to rugby, ultimate disc to Tae Kwon Do.

Ohio State regularly attracts noted artists, musicians, lecturers and celebrities to its visual and performing arts venues, such as the internationally acclaimed Wexner Center for the Arts. Festivals, concerts, classes and everyday bustle can be found on the historic Oval, the heart of Ohio State's sprawling 1,709-acre campus. This path-lined green adjoins the stunning Mirror Lake, the perfect setting for reading a good book, studying or just enjoying nature. Cyclists and joggers love the campus paths that wind along the Olentangy River, continuing into the Metro Parks as far north as Worthington. And there's nothing quite like sitting with more than 100,000 screaming fans in spectacular Ohio Stadium and cheering the national champion Buckeye football team to victory.
