Welcome to Occupational Therapy at
The Ohio State University!

The Masters of Occupational Therapy program @ OSU is ranked in the top 25 occupational therapy programs in the nation. Our mission is to produce graduates who will improve people’s lives through caring attitudes, skills in collaboration and communication, a desire to engage in life long learning, competence in ethical and responsible decision making and respect for the dignity of all individuals.

The occupational therapy faculty are committed to promoting scholarship, leadership and research in the occupational therapy field. For occupational therapy practitioners, we offer opportunities to advance practice and evidence for practice via our Masters of Science and PhD (Health and Rehabilitation Sciences) programs.

This is what our students say:

“The faculty is great! They are very open to new opinions and the program is continually changing for the better. The field experiences are also great because you get to apply the knowledge you’re learning”

“OSU is a great university with a lot of diversity. The MOT program is well-known and the faculty members have achieved a great deal of accomplishments. Ohio State University offers many ways to gain the experience and knowledge to become a successful OT”

“I like how my professors use creative ways to apply classroom concepts to working as professionals. We get numerous opportunities for hands-on fieldwork experiences and discussions with knowledgeable professionals in occupational therapy and related fields.”
