Pi Theta Epsilon Pi Theta Epsilon (PTE) is the honorary society of occupational therapy. The PTE chapter at The Ohio State University is Lambda, originally established in 1984. Pi Theta Epsilon recognizes and encourages superior scholarship and service among students enrolled in the professional Occupational Therapy program. The purpose of this honor society is to contribute to the advancement in the field of Occupational Therapy through special projects of its members; to provide a basis for relationships among accredited schools of occupational therapy; and to work in cooperation with the aims and ideals of the Student Occupational Therapy Association. Induction into PTE is based on grade point average, class rank, and written application.
