The Traditional Program in Radiologic Sciences and Therapy is designed for students who have little or no experience working in a medical imaging field and have completed some or most of the coursework required under the University’s General Education Curriculum (GEC) in their freshmen and sophomore years.

Most students enrolled in the Traditional Program enter their professional programs during the Autumn Quarter of their junior year, at which time they will embark on a program of extensive theory and clinical education in one of three specialty areas -- Radiography, Radiation Therapy, or Sonography.

Students are required to submit verification of 50 volunteer hours at the time application is made to the program using the Documentation of Contact  Hours form. Applications for admittance into the Radiologic Sciences and Therapy program are accepted online from September 1 through January 31 for consideration of an Autumn Quarter admission.
