Applications for the Traditional Program are accepted for Autumn Quarter admission only. Students may apply online after September 1 through the Ohio State University Professional Admissions. The application deadline for Autumn quarter admission is January 31. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Most admission decisions will be made during Spring Quarter.
Applicant's Checklist
Admission Application form to be completed online including the following information:
- Schedule of Current and Planned Courses
- Personal Statement (include description of observation experience, if applicable)
- Application/acceptance fee online payment if you are not currently an OSU student
- Official transcript(s) sent to Professional Admissions from all non-OSU colleges/schools where any coursework was completed or is in progress. Any updated transcripts must be sent to Professional Admissions as well.
The Documentation of Applicant’s Radiology Patient Contact Hours* and/or proof of CPR certification should be mailed directly to:

Priority Application Deadlines
- The online application for Traditional admission consideration must be submitted to the Division of Radiologic Sciences and Therapy by January 31. All documentation of 50 required observation hours using the form Documentation of Applicant's Radiology Patient Contact Hours* must also be submitted by the January 31 deadline.

OSUMC - Hospital Volunteer Services can assist you with the observation process. Please note, this program is ONLY for individuals who have imminent plans to apply to an Allied Med program that requires observation hours. - Applications for the Imaging BS Degree Completion Program (for currently registered Radiologic Technologists) may be submitted between 9/1/07 and 6/1/08 for Autumn Quarter 2008.
Any updated official transcripts (including scheduled classes for next quarter) from any non-OSU educational institution should be mailed to Professional Admissions, in order to ensure that your record is accurately updated in Admissions and the School. Send to:

Baccalaureate Degree Holders
Applicants who already hold an Associate's, Bachelor's and/or Master's degree (in an area other than radiologic technology) should apply for Traditional Program admission during the current applications cycle (until January 31). Official transcripts for any additional coursework completed at any non-OSU educational institution should be forwarded to Professional Admissions for accurate recording and recalculation.
Incomplete applications will not be considered. Due to the high volume of online applications, applicants will receive email acknowledgement only from Professional Admissions. If further information is needed, the applicant will be contacted by either Admissions or the Division of Radiologic Sciences and Therapy, depending on the information needed.
Most admission decisions will be made during Spring Quarter. Junior-level applicants may be officially notified of their status in late April.
Any updated official transcripts from non-OSU educational institutions must be sent to Professional Admissions as soon as possible in order to accurately update applicant files in the OSU database.
