RST Juniors win National Scholarships

Daniel S. Eiler is a junior student in the Radiologic Scienes and Therapy Division majoring in Radiation Therapy.  Dan was recently chosen for the prestigous Varian Radiation Therapy Student Scholarship.  Only 17 awards were presented nationally.  Dan will be recieving $5,000.00 to be used to further his education. The expanded Varian Radiation Therapy Student Scholarship Program provides monies for academically outstanding students attending an entry-level radiation therapy program.  The Varian Scholarship is presented in honor of Eileen McCullough. 
Additionally, Kathryn Zale, a junior student in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program has been chosen for the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography's student scholarship. The SDMS Educational Foundation provides these national scholarships.
At the recent state meeting of the Ohio Society of Radiologic Technologists, Megan Moser was chosen to recieve a state scholarhship.

This is the first time that 2 national scholarships and one state scholarship has been awarded to our students in the same year.  We are very proud of Dan, Kate, and Megan!!!
